Planet IX is an NFT-based GameFi strategy game where participants aim to restore a broken planet to its former green and blue glory. This is achieved by acquiring and collecting pieces of land known as PIX, collecting waste, and upgrading PIX with facilities that help rejuvenate the planet. The game allows for forming territories, developing new technologies, raiding other players, and gaining ownership of in-game corporations. Each item collected is represented by a unique NFT.

Planet IX has a dedicated community with significant engagement, featuring more than 500,000 registered users. The game originally went live in July 2021 and fully transitioned to on-chain operations on November 20, 2021.
