The Non-Fungible Token (NFT) ecosystem currently lacks an appraisal link, which is causing difficulties in the sale of many NFTs, even at a 50% discount. To address this, iNFT has proposed a Decentralised Appraisal Machine (DAM), a system designed to determine the value of NFTs using smart contract technologies and a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO). The DAM mechanism, inspired by Sotheby's auction pricing and a study on efficient price mechanisms for NFTs, aims to address the liquidity issue of NFT assets in primary and secondary markets. Through smart contracts, the DAO will manage and operate the pricing machine system, ensuring transparency and fairness. The pricing model will be regularly updated and improved according to voting rules established by the DAO.
