Ignition Coin (IC) is a decentralized, peer-to-peer blockchain that utilizes proof of stake and master node algorithms. As a cryptocurrency, its primary function is to act as a secure store of value. This store of value is designed to be independent of any "master coin" and is determined independently on the Ignition blockchain. The IC coin is not a smart contract or token on another blockchain but rather its own independent blockchain. It is made to provide a secure store of value, similar to other blockchain-based store of value currencies like Bitcoin, but without some of the limitations associated with those currencies.
