Its unique approach involves the use of layer 2 (L2) technologies, such as the Lightning Network, to action swaps within the Hydranet custodial light wallet. This gives users a hybrid trading experience, blending the benefits of decentralized and centralized exchanges.
The DEX is designed to be blockchain-agnostic and highly scalable, with the only requirement for listing being the use of compatible L2 technology and active trading interest. Currently, Bitcoin and Ethereum pairs are available for swapping using this L2 solution. The Hydranet network aims to provide a decentralized, secure, and fast trading platform for users.
