- Initial Peg: HYUSD is initially pegged to the value of one US dollar.
- Proof of Reserves: The reserves are proofed on-chain 24/7, ensuring transparency and auditability.
- Backed by Diversified Assets: The reserves are backed by a diversified basket of yield-bearing dollar-denominated assets (such as fUSDC, fDAI, Convex/Curve MIM+3CRV pool, and Convex/Curve eUSD+FRAXBP pool).
- Censorship-Resistance: The use of derivative assets from proven DeFi protocols makes HYUSD censorship-resistant.
- Over-Collateralization: The reserves are over-collateralized and governed by the community through a fully decentralized process.
