Overview
HeliSwap is an open-source decentralized exchange (DEX) platform designed to support tokens within the Hedera ecosystem. It is built on a fork of the Uniswap v2 protocol, which means it leverages popular DEX features and makes them available on Hedera Hashgraph.
Key Features
HeliSwap supports swaps of various tokens, including ERC-20, HBAR, and HTS tokens. This makes it the first Hedera-based DEX to offer such token swaps.
The platform aims to provide a straightforward user experience, making DeFi simple and accessible.
Governance
The DAO platform, built by HeliSwap, will handle governance matters, such as fee activation, protocol features, and enhancements. Currently, fee collection is turned off, and the DAO will decide on these matters once established.
Token Details
The $HELI token will be available soon, with the team finalizing tokenomics and planning ways to provide value to users.
Current Status
HeliSwap has been audited by Halborn, with no major issues found. The team is currently preparing for launch and integrating popular wallets, starting with HashPack.
