Overview of Hedge Protocol
Hedge Protocol is a \ platform built on the Solana blockchain, offering users a unique low collateral ratio and interest-free borrowing option. It allows users to deposit collateral and mint a stablecoin, USH, which is pegged to the US-dollar, and is always redeemable at face value. Users can obtain USH for a one-time fee and use it to purchase collateral at any point with an added fee ensuring it doesn't happen too frequently.
HDG Token
HDG is the protocol's governance token. It plays a key role in revenue sharing and is primarily used for this purpose. Holders of HDG tokens can claim a proportion of all protocol fees when they stake their HDG tokens. Additionally, HDG is used to reward market makers for providing liquidity to the system.
