Green Satoshi Token (GST) is the game token of STEPN, a Web3 lifestyle app that integrates social elements and gamification design. GST is earned through the app by walking, jogging, or running outdoors while equipped with NFT Sneakers. GST can be used to level up and mint new Sneakers, and users can lease or sell their NFT Sneakers on the in-app Marketplace. STEPN aims to encourage a healthy lifestyle and introduce users to Web3 concepts.
Earning GST
GST is earned by users through moving and leasing their NFT Sneakers within the app. Users can then use GST to progress in the app and participate in social and gamification activities.

GST is minted and burned through the platform's functions: users mint GST by moving and leasing NFT Sneakers, and burn GST by progressing through the app's social and gamification components. GST is distinct from GMT, the governance token of STEPN, which has a supply of 6 billion.

STEPN is developed by Find Satoshi Lab, an Australian-based fintech studio. The team behind STEPN won the 2021 Solana Ignition Hackathon Gaming Track and is part of the DeFi Alliance Gaming cohort.
