GST is the game token in STEPN, a Web3 lifestyle app with social elements and gamification design. Users equipped with NFT Sneakers earn GST tokens by walking, jogging, and running outdoors. GST tokens can be used to level up and mint new Sneakers or earned through leasing and selling NFT Sneakers on the in-app Marketplace. Players buy GST to spend or burn in the STEPN app, where GST is minted through user movement and NFT Sneaker leasing. It is different from GMT, the governance token of STEPN with a supply of 6 billion tokens.

STEPN is a Web3 lifestyle app with social elements and gamification design. Users equipped with NFT Sneakers earn GST tokens by engaging in outdoor physical activities. They can choose to lease or sell their NFT Sneakers on the in-app Marketplace, which stores all GST earnings. The app includes a Swap function for easy token management. STEPN is created by Find Satoshi Lab, an Australian-based fintech studio that won the 2021 Solana Ignition Hackathon Gaming Track and is part of the DeFi Alliance Gaming cohort.
