GRE Labs aims to create a pathway and platform for proper communication between blockchain networks, enabling the sharing of assets, states, liquidity, and more.
Core Capabilities
GRE supports three key functions:
Arbitrary Messaging
- Allows sending arbitrary data (encoded as bytes) to a receiving smart contract on a different blockchain.
- Developers can encode any data they wish to send.
Token Transfer
- Enables transferring tokens to a smart contract or an externally owned account (EOA) on a different blockchain.
- Supports programmable token transfer, allowing simultaneous token transfer and arbitrary data transfer in a single transaction.
Ecosystem
The GRE Labs ecosystem is powered by Chainlink’s industry-standard oracle networks and features additional layers of protection via the Risk Management Network and transfer rate limits. This ensures enhanced token composability and secure, efficient transfer of tokens across chains.
