GFI is the governance token for Gravity Finance. Holding GFI in a wallet makes the holder eligible to receive admin-fees from all Gravity Finance DeFi products without the need to stake tokens. Admin fees are paid out in a 50% ETH and 50% BTC split through smart contracts. The ETH portion is claimable at any time, while the BTC portion accrues in a smart contract, forming the token's intrinsic value, making GFI "backed by Bitcoin" through admin fees that GFI holders can redeem at any time through a GFI burn-function.
