The Genomes.io platform allows users to store and manage their genome data, ensuring that they have complete ownership and control over it. Pharmaceutical companies and research organisations use GENE tokens to query user data. The queries are brokered through Genomes.io, and individual users can choose to approve or reject these queries.
Token Overview
GENE is a deflationary utility token, built on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-20 token. Data buyers set the price for each query in GENE tokens, giving the tokens value and utility.
