The Bank of Canada's 2016 economic report "On the Value of Virtual Currencies" found that a cryptocurrency's exchange rate is determined by the use of it for real payments, the decision by investors to buy it, and the factors that drive consumer adoption and merchant acceptance. AMARK's XAC Attention Addresses are linked to consumer data and have two functions: XAC-LOCK which encourages engagement and XAC-BURN which requires 5% of all transfers to be burned, aligning interests between merchants and consumers. These mechanisms will offset new coins introduced and pressure the price of XAC to an equilibrium reflective of demand.
