Geist Finance is a decentralized and non-custodial liquidity market operating on Fantom Opera blockchain, with core protocol based on AAVE and staking and fee distribution system based on Ellipsis Finance. GEIST token is native to the protocol, functioning as a revenue sharing token. Different assets can be borrowed and lend at variable interest rates through Chainlink and Band oracles, while liquidators may receive financial incentives for undercollateralized loans. It can be obtained through exchanges or as rewards for providing liquidity. A Timelock contract and a five-person multisig are in place to secure smart contracts.
