Key Features
Holders of a Generous Robot NFT are eligible to receive 4 $GEAR per day per NFT staked, with longer staking periods translating to higher payouts. This token is the backbone of the Generous Robots DAO ecosystem, employing a unique game theory experiment. Notably, the starting supply of $GEAR is zero, and it is only emitted via staking.
Emissions and Burning Mechanisms
To achieve sustainable tokenomics, the project has introduced several token burning mechanisms:
- IDO Profits Buyback: Burning $GEAR with profits from the Initial DEX Offering (IDO).
- Breeding: Burning $GEAR through specific breeding processes.
- VC Fund Access: Burning $GEAR to access private rounds of the Venture Capital fund.
- Royalties from the Second Collection Buyback: Using royalties to buyback and burn $GEAR from the market.
- Other Mechanisms: Additionally, other mechanisms, such as DegenCoinFlip and merchandise sales, contribute to token burning.
A decay coefficient has been integrated to control emissions, reducing the amount of $GEAR issued each month by approximately 3.98%. This approach ensures that $GEAR emissions will be near zero in about 60 months, maintaining the token's scarcity and value.
