Founded in 2016, it is the result of collaboration with hundreds of caregivers to develop a platform that connects patients, hospitals, researchers, and innovators.

- Decentralized and Collaborative Ecosystem: GALEON connects hospitals on a local scale, allowing them to share medical data anonymously and securely for the greater good.
- Blockchain Swarm Learning Technology: Each hospital with the GALEON EHR can become a validator on the GALEON blockchain, participating in the training of Medical AI while maintaining patient data privacy.
- Proof-of-Hospital Protocol: Companies can train Medical AI algorithms with this technology, ensuring transparency and safety.
- DAO and Token Holders: Participants, including hospitals and patients, are rewarded for their contributions to the research network. The DAO treasury funds non-profit projects chosen by token holders.
