friesDAO (Franchises & Restaurants Integrated Efficiently & Systematically) is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) built on Ethereum, focused on acquiring and operating fast food stores. This project aims to bridge blockchain-based governance with real-world operations of well-known franchise brands, scaling into cities around the world.

Governance Model

The DAO has two primary models:

• Contract Ownership: The community governs store profits.
• Merchant Cash Advance Model: Store owners needing funds can be financed in exchange for joining the friesDAO community via $FRIES tokens and offering NFT-gated perks.

Operations

friesDAO plans to acquire and operate franchises of popular fast food chains such as Popeye's, Burger King, and Taco Bell. The DAO will guide partners about the blockchain space, and plans include providing NFT membership cards with perks like free food or discounts at participating stores.

Management and Token Governance

The funds raised by the community treasury are used to contract traditional companies to acquire and operate franchises. Members of the DAO have a say in how the treasury funds are spent and which stores are acquired. The DAO has raised significant funds and has notable advisors such as Kory Spiroff, former president of Domino's, and Brett Beller.
