FloorDAO
FloorDAO is an NFT market-making protocol. It aims to enable deep liquidity for NFT collections through the use of protocol-controlled value and yield-generating strategies, starting with NFTX vaults. This protocol combines elements of Olympus mechanics and NFTX vaults to sweep floors, enable deep liquidity, and generate yield for the DAO treasury.
ERC20 Token: FLOOR
FLOOR is an ERC20 token that is intrinsically backed by 0.001 ETH (1 finney). It supports a treasury of yield-generating NFT liquidity. New FLOOR tokens are minted via rebasing or bonding, modeled after Olympus's OHM token.
Rebase Mechanism
The rebase mechanism works by minting new FLOOR tokens when the treasury holds more intrinsic value than the circulating supply and the reward rate is greater than 0. This ensures that the token's value is maintained and rewarded to stakers.
NFTX Vaults
FloorDAO incorporates NFTX vaults to provide liquidity to NFT collections. Tokens such as PUNK, backed by CryptoPunk NFTs, allow instant buying and selling of NFTs and track "floor" prices.
PUNK Token
PUNK is an ERC20 token backed by CryptoPunk NFTs in the NFTX vault. Each PUNK is backed by at least one CryptoPunk. This vault allows instant selling or buying of CryptoPunk pieces and tracks "floor" prices.
Tokenomics
The initial circulating supply of FLOOR includes aFLOOR, which will be redeemed for FLOOR. Governance votes on deploying the full set of contracts.
