Fathom Project
Fathom is a decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem built on the XDC network. Its primary objective is to increase the liquidity of the XDC network and make FXD, an over-collateralized and soft-pegged stablecoin, central to the XDC network DeFi ecosystem.
Trading Bots and Stable Staking
The project utilizes trading bots to generate external revenue streams. It has introduced "Stable Staking," a fair staking method where rewards are determined by the USD contributed at the time of staking.
Development Team and Smart Contracts
The project boasts an experienced development team that has created six custom smart contracts and a decentralized application (dApp).
Project History
The project has been in development for the last year. After an initial launch on a decentralized exchange (DEX) not tracked by CoinGecko (CG) or CoinMarketCap (CMC), the team launched V2 to address a contract mistake and list on PancakeSwap (PCS). The project faced challenges from sniperbots following the price increase from V1 but is now focusing on stabilizing and building revenue streams.
Future Development
Future plans involve building external revenue streams further using collected funds.
Token Usage
The FATHOM token is primarily used for staking, allowing holders to earn an ROI on the token. This acts as part ownership in the external revenue streams generated by the protocol.
