It utilizes a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called IBFT in order to offer scalability and low-cost transactions. The native utility token, XZO, is used for fees, staking validator nodes, and governance votes. The network includes an SDK, wallet, explorer, command line tools, a decentralized exchange (DEX), and a marketplace for multi-chain NFTs. 800 million XZO tokens were created at genesis, with their distribution break down being 20% to the founding team member, 20% to the treasury, 2% to philanthropy, 3% to airdrop rewards, 5% to bug bounty rewards, and 50% to public sale, partnerships, exchange listings, rewards, and burning events. Additionally, there are Ecosystem Tokens including XZO, EXZO, WXZO, and USDX.
