Overview of EnterDAO
EnterDAO is a decentralized initiative that aims to build products that enable new markets within the metaverse economy. The project grants voting rights to holders of the $ENTR token. This decentralization enables the creation of innovative products like marketplaces for renting and lending metaverse land from a single application, enabling seamless entry into multiple metaverses.
Key Features
- Voting Power: Voting rights are determined by the amount of $ENTR deposited (which is converted to vENTR) and a corresponding multiplier. The multiplier depends on the duration for which the tokens are locked. For example, locking vENTR for 1 year provides a 2x multiplier, while locking for 6 months provides a 1.5x multiplier.
- Continuous Rewards: Users who stake ENTR receive continuous rewards without affecting the multiplier.
- Token Management: The Kernel contract handles token management, allowing users to deposit ENTR, withdraw it, lock tokens for a designated period, and delegate vENTR voting power to a secondary wallet address.
- Rewards Distribution: The Rewards contract distributes rewards to users based on their staked ENTR balance, utilizing the CommunityVault contract as the source of ENTR rewards.
- Governance: The Governance contract manages the voting process, ensuring users can exercise their voting power on proposals according to their vENTR balances.
Technical Details
- Smart Contract Architecture: EnterDAO Kernel is based on the architecture of BarnBridge-Barn, with users able to stake ENTR for vENTR, lock ENTR for bonus vENTR, and delegate vENTR to other users.
- Multiplier Decay: The bonus vENTR decays linearly relative to the locking duration.
- User Management: Users can manage their vENTR, withdrawing their ENTR balance after the lock period and maintaining control over delegated vENTRs.
