Empyrean DAO is a protocol designed to create and manage a fully backed, algorithmic, yield-generating, free-floating stable asset known as EMPYR. It is built on the Aurora network, an EVM-compatible shard on NEAR. The protocol draws inspiration from OlympusDAO and aims to improve upon its design to create more value for the community. The long-term strategy involves deploying various yield-enhancing techniques, such as yield farming, leveraged yield farming, and basis trading, and distributing the generated yield to Empyrean token holders through either increased staking APYs or direct cash flow distributions, as determined by community voting.
