Edge Matrix Computing (EMC) is a blockchain project focused on bridging the gap between AI (artificial intelligence) and Web3 technologies. It seeks to connect the computing power network with AI decentralized applications (dApps).
Key Features
- Computing Pool: Organizes multiple computing nodes to work together through resource sharing and task scheduling, improving computational efficiency and performance. These nodes are equipped with high-performance GPUs and provide various AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Consensus Algorithm: Uses a hybrid of Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS) with Istanbul Byzantine Fault Tolerance (IBFT) strategy for consensus among validator nodes.
- Staking: Validator nodes require a certain amount of EMC tokens as collateral to ensure security and reliability. The reward for validator nodes is proportional to the amount of tokens staked.

- AI Features: Computing nodes can be configured to support different AI tasks such as image generation and NLP tasks, with rewards distributed through smart contracts.
