DAKS represents a legal security token in Switzerland, particularly of Aktionariat AG. Founded in 2021, Aktionariat AG is a platform providing tools for corporations to sell their shares, regulated according to their domiciled country. They also offer a non-custodial wallet provider for investors on both iOS and Android.
Aktionariat is primarily focused on working with Swiss corporations but plans to expand to other countries soon. As of February 2023, more than 60 Swiss corporations are working with Aktionariat, and over 8,000 users utilize their mobile wallet to invest in these corporations.
The Aktionariat mobile wallet allows users to manage their tokenized share portfolio and acts as a base wallet to store tokenized shares. Users can request the tokenization of traditional shares, import addresses and keys from other wallets, and connect to WalletConnect compatible dApps, including Aktionariat's own widgets for shareholder registration and trading tokenized shares.
