• Level 2 (Basic Reasoning): Tasks at this level require more thinking and reasoning, involving actions like summarizing information, describing cause-and-effect relationships, and solving routine problems.
• Level 3 (Complex Reasoning): These tasks require strategic thinking to support ideas with evidence, develop scientific models, and describe complex phenomena using concepts.
• Level 4 (Extended Thinking): The highest level demands extended thinking where students design investigations, analyze data, and apply mathematical models to practical situations.
