Overview
Denarius (D) is a decentralized cryptocurrency built upon the original Bitcoin Core by Satoshi Nakamoto. It incorporates several key features, including Stealth Addresses, Encrypted Messaging, and a new Proof-of-Work (PoW) hashing algorithm called Tribus. This PoW algorithm is designed to be ASIC-resistant.
Hybrid Consensus Mechanism
Denarius utilizes a hybrid consensus mechanism that combines both PoW and Proof-of-Stake (PoS). The hybrid lifecycle spans three years, after which the network transitions to PoS entirely.
