Decentralized Nations, developed by Smatoos, is a blockchain-powered decentralized metaverse where users can build and manage nations, cities, and civilizations. These virtual entities interact with the real world and evolve based on real-world events and the development of Decentralized Nations itself. Users can collect and own these nations, cities, and civilizations in the form of unique digital assets represented by non-fungible tokens (NFTs) issued on the Ethereum blockchain. NFTs certify ownership and authenticity of these digital collectibles, which are limited in number, just like their real-world counterparts. The project aims to create a dynamic, community-driven environment where users can engage in activities like collecting, playing, and earning rewards within their virtual nations.
