Dappatoz
Dappatoz is a decentralized application (dapp) built on a blockchain infrastructure. It aims to solve issues with symbols stored in libraries. In previous versions of KiCad, symbols from libraries are only linked and not copied into schematics. This leads to problems when sharing projects, as the symbols may not be available on another computer. To address this, Dappatoz likely incorporates the cache library, which contains copies of the original library symbols, ensuring that the project remains self-contained. In the event of library loss, KiCad can rescue symbols by creating a new library. This complex system has been simplified in later versions, where symbols are directly copied into schematics.
