Description
bridged DAI (PulseChain) is a stablecoin that has been bridged from Ethereum and is commonly referred to as "eDAI" in the PulseChain community. Bridged DAI is intended to ensure liquidity and stability within various DeFi/DEX protocols across different blockchains. It supports interoperability across multiple chains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Klaytn, Terra, and more, to create a connected ecosystem.
Bridged DAI functions in two primary forms:
- eDAI: An ERC20 token focusing on maintaining stability and value, equivalent to 1 DaI.
- oDAI: An ERC20 token integrated with DSR (Dai Saving Rate) for higher returns, also equivalent to 1 wad which grows in value with DSR.
The DaiProxy system manages conversions between Dai, eDAI, and oDAI, ensuring efficient management of deposits and rewards. This makes bridged DAI useful within the PulseChain ecosystem for both liquidity and yield opportunities.
