The Cycle Protocol is a yield optimizer that allows users to auto-compound rewards from various decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and projects on the Avalanche C-chain. It includes its own liquidity mining program, which rewards users with the Cycle token ($CYCLE). This token is also used for governance, giving the community control over the protocol's development and receiving part of the revenue generated by users who stake it.
The protocol leverages the Avalanche Network's low gas fees and swift transaction speeds, making it accessible and user-friendly. It includes a ZAP function, enabling one-click depositing into the auto-compounders, making it easy for new users to on-board. Users earn the Cycle token on top of the auto-compounded rewards.
Unlike many yield farming programs and liquidity mining platforms, the Cycle Protocol's reward distribution is not block-by-block, time-based, or inflationary. Instead, a portion of the vault compounding reinvestment amount is used to generate the Cycle token for vault rewards.
