What is DAG?
A DAG is a type of data structure used for data modeling and consensus mechanisms in cryptocurrencies. Unlike blockchains, which consist of blocks, DAGs record transactions as vertices, and each transaction is linked to others without creating a cycle. This structure enables processing transactions faster and at a lower cost.
How does DAG work?
