Comtech Gold is the first token to be 100% Shariah-compliant. Each CGO token represents one pure gram of gold, which is fully backed by physical gold and has its own audit trail of transactions. The token aims to solve the problem of traditional gold ownership, which can be difficult to store and transport. Unlike gold futures, Comtech Gold provides ownership of the underlying commodity.

Physical Gold Backing

Each token is backed by a piece of gold, and physical gold bars are stored in internationally accepted vaults in the UAE. The gold is sourced from recognized refineries and is 999.9 pure. Token holders can convert their tokens to physical gold when they hold coins equivalent to 1 kg or more.
