The CITIES Vault (NFTX) project is a protocol that allows users to create fungible ERC20 tokens backed by NFTs. This protocol operates by wrapping NFTs into these tokens, making it possible for individuals to mint and redeem them. In the second version of the protocol (NFTX v2), each token (vToken) acts as a vault, holding its own NFTs and offering more flexibility in minting and redeeming options.
In NFTX v2, users can mint, randomly redeem, target redeem, randomly swap, and target swap tokens. These operations are subject to fees set by each vault, which are paid in vTokens. The default fees for minting, random redeeming, target redeeming, random swapping, and target swapping are 5%, 2%, 3%, 2%, and 5%, respectively.
