Shentu is a cross-chain protocol focused on security and decentralized reimbursements for building secure dApps. It accomplishes this through its comprehensive package including the Security Oracle, DeepSEA, a functional programming language ensuring verification via the Coq proof assistant, and a reimbursement pool called ShentuShield. Together, these components facilitate end-to-end security for blockchain projects.

Shentu's architecture consists of multiple components:

• Business Chain: This is the targeted blockchain (e.g., Ethereum) where Shentu provides its Security Oracle. It includes a security oracle interface that accepts security inquiries from DeFi applications.
• Shentu Chain: This is the underlying blockchain that handles security inquiries from Business Chains. It offers various components to address security issues. These components include:
  • Security Primitive: A platform where security providers can register on-chain services or off-chain API endpoints to address diverse security functionalities.
  • Oracle Combinator: Built-in frameworks enabling decentralized and transparent Oracle workflows, including task management and result aggregation.
  • Cross-Chain: Facilitates connections between different chains through a component maintained by Shentu's Security Council. This includes Oracle Operators and Oracle Syncers.
• DeepSEA: A programming language that empowers developers to tackle intricate code while ensuring verification through the Coq proof assistant. This allows for Formal Verification to ensure fully verified programs.

Shentu also incorporates a governance model fueled by its digital asset, CTK, which enables a decentralized, inclusive environment. Its DPoS consensus mechanism encourages community participation and collective decision-making.
