Current Dual-Chain Architecture
Carmine Options AMM is currently live on mainnet and uses the Pragma (formerly Empiric) oracle for price data. The protocol is working on developing its own oracle solution, Chronos, to mitigate spot price manipulation and ensure the latest possible price is used when settling options.
Smart Contracts
The protocol utilizes proxy contracts and is built using the OpenZeppelin library. This allows for smoother interaction with the smart contracts, making it possible to upgrade the implementation contract without affecting the proxy contract.
