Burrow is a decentralized, non-custodial pool-based interest rates platform that enables users to supply assets to earn interest and borrow against them to unlock liquidity. It runs natively on the NEAR blockchain, leveraging the advanced features of NEAR, such as Proof-of-Stake (PoS) and sharding. Burrow allows users to maximize interest from their assets by utilizing interest-bearing assets, particularly layer-1 staking derivatives like stNEAR and stETH. Its innovative features include self-paying loans and interoperability with other Layer-1 chains through the Aurora Rainbow Bridge.
Assets and Interoperability
Burrow supports six assets for supply and borrowing: DAI, USDT, USDC, NEAR (wrapped), ETH (wrapped), stNEAR, and stSOL. It also plans to incorporate more assets like bLUNA. This allows users to supply assets from different chains and unlock liquidity through borrowing.
Token Information
Burrow is powered by its native governance token, BRRR, which is used for voting, staking, and other various use cases. The BRRR token is supported on NEAR and is a deflationary token with a capped supply of 1 billion.
