Starter.xyz is a decentralized incubator, IDO (Initial Decentralized Offering) launchpad, and fundraising platform for developers and investors. It allows early-stage projects to onboard, vet, and participate in amazing ideas while providing equal opportunities to BUIDL token holders. The platform uses on-chain applications to facilitate project submission and voting processes.

Project Submission and Voting

Developers submit their projects for consideration by BUIDL token holders. These holders vote to decide whether the projects will be approved and listed on the platform. Each project provides detailed information about the project, including terms of the presale, relevant links to the project's website and social media, contract addresses, and audit reports. The voting process is weighted by the amount of BUIDL tokens staked by each voter.

Project Settings

Key settings for each project include:

• Token Price: The cost of each token purchased.
• Start Time: The beginning of the presale.
• End Time: The official end time of the presale unless the Hard Cap is reached earlier.
• Soft Cap: The minimum amount required to make the sale successful.
• Hard Cap: The maximum amount that can be raised.
• Head Start: The time guaranteed for certain tiers to participate.
• Min/Max per Wallet: The minimum and maximum amounts each investor can contribute.
• Allocation Factor: Used to determine maximum allocation per wallet based on tiers.
• Listing Rate: The token price set for liquidity allocation on a decentralized exchange (DEX).
• Percentage Allocated to LP: The percentage of funds used for liquidity listing on a DEX.
• Liquidity Lock Duration: The period for which allocated liquidity is locked.
• Listing Time: When the DEX liquidity is added and locked.
• Release at TGE (%): The percentage of tokens unlocked at Token Generation Event (TGE).

Guaranteed Allocation

The Guaranteed Allocation model or First-Come First-Serve (FCFS) model determines project presale participation. Guaranteed Allocation is divided into two tiers: Gold Tier (50000+ BUIDL tokens) and Starter Tier (5000-49999 BUIDL tokens). Gold Tier investors receive a guaranteed allocation, while Starter Tier investors invest based on a first-come first-served basis.

Certified BUIDLer Program

The Certified BUIDLer program handpicks and heavily vets promising projects, offering them as exclusive IDOs. These projects undergo rigorous evaluation and full Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks to ensure only trusted projects are presented to the Starter community.

LockOnBase

LockOnBase is a token vesting and liquidity locker developed by Starter. It can be used by any project to protect liquidity or vest tokens over time. Key features include:

• Locking ERC20 tokens: Tokens can be locked for any period, supporting Fee on Transfer tokens.
• Liquidity protection: Useful for new, unproven projects.
• Proven and audited code: Previously used to store over $40M in Total Value Locked (TVL) on Binance Smart Chain (BSC).
• Low fees: A 0.5% locker deposit fee applies, or it can be used for free by staking a minimum of 10000 BUIDL tokens.
