Bluzelle is a decentralized storage network designed for the creator economy, offering high security, unmatched availability, and censorship resistance. It provides a platform for artists, musicians, scientists, publishers, and developers to protect their intellectual property. Bluzelle supports data storage, file storage, oracles, and specifically caters to needs of NFTs and DeFi applications.
Bluzelle utilizes a peer-to-peer market for database storage, connecting users who rent storage space with users who have extra capacity, ensuring maximum security and scalability. The network operates through nodes called “Swarms” and uses sharding to distribute data across these Swarms. Bluzelle users are rewarded with its native token, BLZ, when they share their redundant storage space.
Bluzelle is built on the Cosmos SDK and employs Tendermint’s Byzantine Fault Tolerant technology, making it compatible with multiple blockchain platforms. The project aims to set a new standard for the decentralized internet by providing a decentralized database layer for dApps, ensuring scalability and removing the need for central authorities.
