Governance
BitDAO is governed by the holders of the BIT token. Proposals, official or soft, can be submitted by anyone and are subject to voting by BIT token holders. This includes decisions on new initiatives, treasury resource management, and implementing corrective actions.
Resource Management
The BitDAO treasury grows through net inflows from BIT-powered products, the increasing value of assets held, and contributions from partners like Bybit. The treasury allocates resources to fund development, support specialized initiatives, and facilitate token swaps with other organizations. All treasury movements can be tracked via the Treasury Monitor.
Principles
BitDAO is a collective of token holders and contributors, not a company. There is no management team or employees. Anyone can propose partnerships and upgrades, but these proposals must be voted on by the community. Token holders have the right to vote, but not to impose their will on others.
