BitcoinPoS is a variant of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency that has transitioned to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) at block 301448. This change is intended to make the network more decentralized, secure, and environmentally friendly. All BTCS (BitcoinPoS) have been mined using real Bitcoin keys. Users can import their Bitcoin keys prior to block 301448 to start mining or import their BTCS keys from any block to continue mining. It is recommended to move any Bitcoin balance to another address before importing.
