Binance Coin is the cryptocurrency used on the Binance platform, a cryptocurrencies-exclusive trading platform. The platform does not allow trading of cryptocurrency against fiat money and is stationed in Malta. Binance Coin has a daily trading volume between $1.5 billion and $2 billion. There will only be 200 million Binance coins, with 50% sold in the ICO, 40% given to the team and 10% given to angel investors. It can be used for fees on the Binance platform, with the company offering discounts for the first five years for those who pay with it. Binance has also announced that it will buy back up to 100 million coins in Q1 of 2018 and then burn them, which devalues the coins to increase the value of the remaining coins.
