Bata (BTA) stands for Barter And Trade Alternative. It is a cryptocurrency devised to replace trade dollars in traditional barter systems. The primary vision of Bata is to change the way people trade by introducing Barter on the Blockchain through a new system of commerce called Barterchain. This system aims to create new jobs and help transition away from the current system of debt-based money.

The Bata cryptocurrency features several innovative components:

• Dynamic Blocks: Blocks are formatted based on block height and difficulty, ensuring no cheap blocks are generated.

• Instamine Protection: This mechanism triggers after five blocks of a single algorithm are mined within a short time.

• Deadlock Protection: To enhance efficiency, the difficulty level is reduced whenever new blocks are not found for an extended period, allowing new blocks to be mined much faster even after high hash rates.

• Spork Control: The development team has full control over block processing without requiring wallet upgrades.

Algorithm Combinations

Bata incorporates a diverse range of algorithms for its mining process including Sha256d, Scrypt, Nist5, Lyra2z, x11, and x16r.
