About Base Protocol
Base Protocol (BASE) is a token whose price is pegged to the total market cap of all cryptocurrencies at a ratio of 1:1 trillion. This means that if the total market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies is $450 billion, the price of BASE will be $0.45. Similarly, if the total market capitalization is $800 billion, the price of BASE will be $0.80. This token allows traders to speculate on the entire crypto industry with just one token. The Base Protocol is built on the Ethereum blockchain and integrates a Chainlink oracle to maintain an accurate price peg.
