aUSD SEED (Acala) - ASEED

aUSD SEED (ASEED) is a decentralized stablecoin that was created as part of the Acala Exodus Upgrade to provide liquidity options for users holding aUSD stablecoins. ASEED holders can redeem the underlying assets in the aSEED treasury in the future under certain criteria. ASEED does not have a pegged price but is instead secured through a trustless process where holders can exchange it for the reserve assets in the treasury.

The main goal of ASEED is to provide a path forward for aUSD by allowing users to either exit their existing aUSD positions or participate in Acala's future growth. ASEED integrates with multiple liquidity venues such as Acala, Acala Swap, Stellaswap, Karura, Karura Swap, and Zenlink.

ASEED is available as both ERC-20 and Substrate tokens, with defined contract addresses. It does not have a pegged price and is designed to be a decentralized stablecoin with the option for redemption under set criteria.
