AurumCoin is a decentralized, open-source cryptocurrency designed to be a gold-backed stablecoin. It has its own separate blockchain since 2014. With a maximum supply of 300,000 coins, the cryptocurrency aims to bring back the gold standard. The mission includes enabling fast cross-border payments and providing an alternative to existing currencies. AurumCoin uses the SHA256 algorithm and has a unique blockchain structure.
