Altering these symbols at the project level does not automatically update the file-level symbols, requiring a manual update at both levels.

It uses automatic mechanisms to preserve symbol links within the project. If the original library for symbols is lost, the system creates a rescue library and updates the symbol links to point to this new library, ensuring the project stays intact.
