Aura Finance is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol that leverages Balancer's veBAL system to maximize incentives for DeFi liquidity providers, governance token stakers, and voters. It aggregates BAL deposits and utilizes Aura's native token (AURA) to boost yield potential and governance power. By mirroring the Balancer protocol, Aura Finance provides an omni-chain yield generation application, allowing users to optimize their BAL staking and access cross-chain yields across multiple EVM-compatible chains. The platform features a community-driven approach, where governors collectively vote on proposals for both Balancer and Aura.
