The goal is to create a more inclusive and diverse ecosystem within the blockchain space, with a focus on female aging and reproductive health research. AthenaDAO supports research on conditions such as Ovarian Aging, Menopause, Endometriosis, Uterine Fibroids, and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and supports the development of biomarkers for these conditions.
Research and Funding
AthenaDAO provides a platform for women to collaborate, share knowledge, and participate in decision-making processes related to blockchain technology. They fund early science and research as well as more mature innovations that can lead to results quickly. The primary focus is on translational and transformative research that can lead to changes in women’s health outcomes in the short to medium term. AthenaDAO uses Molecule’s IP-NFT Framework to acquire and invest in research IP, guaranteeing the DAO’s IP ownership or exclusive licensing rights.
Community and Partnerships
AthenaDAO is designed to collaborate and contribute to existing research organizations and institutions, establishing a presence within the decentralized science (DeSci) movement to represent and create opportunities for women’s health research. They work with experts and partners in decentralized science to power their mission.
