Astarter is a key DeFi infrastructure hub on Cardano that provides open finance services. It features four core applications: Launchpad (Launchpool), DEX, Money Market & Tech Service Platform. It aims to minimize the core smart contract component logic to make the system more scalable and secure. It was founded in 2021 and the first version of the closed beta launched in 2023. It is live on the Cardano Mainnet and will soon start developing ADEX V3.0. The AA token is the heart of Astarter as a governance and native utility token with rewards for participation. It can contribute towards merger-staking rewards and is used for Launchpad tier access, liquidity provisions, yield-generating lending, and collateralized borrowing.
