Aree Shards (AES) is both the monetary and governance token of the Aqua Farm ecosystem. Its role is critical in incentivizing players and token holders.
AES tokens are designed as a fixed deflationary token, ensuring that the value of existing tokens increases over time. This is achieved by limiting the maximum supply to 1,000,000,000 tokens, which will be unlocked according to a predetermined schedule.
The tokenomics of AES include:
- Token Allocation and Unlock Schedule: AES tokens will be unlocked according to a schedule over a period of 60 months from the date of the public sale.
- Token Sale (8% of the total token supply): Tokens allocated for the token sale are subject to a predetermined unlock schedule.
- Dev & Ops (42% of the total token supply): Tokens allocated for development and operational expenses will be used to fund research, server costs, and other expenses.
- Partner & Advisor: This fund aims to enhance the project's sustainability by providing significant resources.
- Private Sale: AES tokens were sold to individual investors in August 2022, with a lock-up schedule similar to the token sale.
AES is tradable on various exchanges and is designed to offer a stable and secure ecosystem within the Aqua Farm environment.
